Project Senior Rower
Phoenix Resources is a private US based company that is located in Naples, Florida. Our presence is limited to on-line only, with the exception of meetings with established client companies.
Project Senior Rower is designed to lengthen the participation in the low impact sport of rowing for seniors over 70 that want to remain active in the sport. Success is measured by the ability to transport, and row the shell without the aid of other persons. The process identified several critical areas that normally inhibit participation, boat selection and navigation while rowing backwards: arthritis in the cervical region of the spine, issues with balance, navigation around traffic, mitigation current effects, hydration needs and instrumentation to enable goal setting. Multiple products were generated to accommodate the senior rower and the final prototypes are versatile, accommodating multiple rigging designs.
